Most people think they have to work real hard to be successful, so you may find it hard to accept that some successful people actually advocate easing off, and take a step back, and adopt a more casual, sauntering approach to wealth creation.
There isn't really a word in English that accurately captures this philosophy, so Fred Gratson is forced to use the unsuitable word "lazy", and that's sad because it doesn't adequately convey the idea that you're not deliberately avoiding work, you're just taking a more relaxed approach, which is just as serious and earnest as the hard-worker.
His book "The lazy way to success" is charming, and the illustrations are brilliantly captivating, with an incredible array of cartoons that utilise a hammock between two trees where the thinking entrepreneur lies: a real talking point to have it lying nonchalently on your coffee table. No visitor, I am sure, will fail to pick it up and comment on its thesis.
