Millionaire lifestyle for less.

---

Further to a comment I made on Diane's Comment Wall, I thought I'd broaden the number of people who could become aware of the idea through this blog-post.

Essentially this is what I said:

I especially like the way you took up the "4 hour workweek" idea that it might be quite possible to have a millionaire lifestyle when you have far less money - in the book he checked the prices and found it was quite possible if you went and visited Argentina, as a for instance.

You might be interested in the blog niche called "location independent" or "mobile lifestyle" or "digital nomad" which has explored this idea by visiting across the border in Mexico.

Admittedly they had come from a very expensive part of the US (San Francisco) so they noticed the discount in the cost of living more markedly.

But please explore the blog more fully - there's lots there to inspire you to (dare I say it) consider living your life's purpose before you've hit the Number you've set yourself, if you adopt a mobile lifestyle roaming through cheaper countries (maybe one just over the border) by becoming a digital nomad.

@Alex. Yes, wouldn't that be great? A lot of the digital nomads set their business up so that they can administer it from anywhere in the world where they can get an internet connection, so it doesn't matter that they're travelling.

Some even show off by using a satellite connection from the top of a mountain.

You don't even have to fly - one blogs about their journeys through Alaska in their motor-home.

If you don't want to be bothered to look for an internet cafe while travelling, you can follow Timothy Ferriss's advice (in the "4 hour workweek) and deliberately set your business up so that you sub-contract all the tasks the require you to "stay home and mind the shop" and just set off into the wilderness leaving it to run on auto-pilot.

Incidentally that book is well worth a look, not least for his interesting life story, his worldwide travel tips, advice on getting rid of rude customers, as well as the outline of how to design an auto-pilot business - he sells vitamin supplement pills via a website.

I like this, especially because one of my goals for reaching my number is to be able to travel whenever and wherever. I plan to spend a good deal of time seeing the world and being on the move after I reach my 35 by 35 goal.
