A friend shared this with me today. I thought it must be a quote from someone very famous and powerful, but it turned out she read it in your everyday article posted online, about surviving a job loss. I think it's relevant here; among people who are setting goals to reach a certain level of wealth in their lives so that they may live out their Life's Purpose.... and begin something beautiful.

... unless you want your profession to be 'writer' rather than 'entrepreneur'.

Of course, Debbie is the rare exception who has managed to combine the two! :)

Ahh, thanks KC. I agree that if you've lost your job and have an entrepreneurial spirit it's like a blessing in disguise- but know that not everyone is a writer or would want to be.

I'm not trying to make a joke - it would be very sound, sensible advice, as the 7 tips concentrate on trying to get back into the jobs market, when maybe, in a contracting economy, with thousands chasing the same few jobs, it might be an excellent time to use the misfortune of job loss to take a new, and maybe more lucrative, direction.

Just my 2 cents worth. You're doing a good job - thanks for being there.

The first sentence is an often published quote by Anon. that famous writer of quotes ... funny, I've never seen a picture of her! Very nice passage, though ....
